Welcome to my homepage.
A native of England, Matt Lee is a writer, hacker, comedian and free software advocate. By day he codes beautiful accessible web applications and by night he mulls over his next big idea. He hacks on free software, runs the website for the GNU Project (one of the most visited non commercial websites on the web) and explains how to make your next web project beautiful and functional.
In 1997, he formed CNUK as an experiment in publishing, entertainment and ideas. CNUK was pre-bubble and survived for a decade, completely self-funded. In 2008, myself and some friends, took CNUK and turned it into a commercial venture -- FooCorp.
Matt lives in Boston, MA. He does political stuff for software freedom and creative freedom. He likes monkeys, badgers, hypertext, hackerdom and girls from Texas, and is interested in copyright, progressive politics, video games, the environment, design, usability, accessibility and the web.
As a comedian, Matt has written for television, radio and the web and is currently working on two television formats.
